- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions
- Steam broccoli: Fill a pot with 2 inches water, bring to boil, reduce heat. Steam broccoli 3-5 minutes until tender.
- Sauté garlic: In skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic; cook 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Combine cream and Parmesan: Pour heavy cream into skillet; stir. Add Parmesan; stir until melted.
- Combine broccoli and sauce: Add steamed broccoli to skillet; toss.
- Season: Add basil, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes (if using).
