Quick & Easy 4-Ingredient Cheese and Bacon Rolls

🥖 Makes: 6 fluffy rolls
Ingredients:
- 2 cups (250g) self-raising flour
- 1 cup (250g) plain Greek yogurt
- 1 cup (100g) shredded cheese (cheddar or a cheese blend)
- ½ cup (100g) cooked bacon bits (or finely chopped cooked bacon)
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Make the Dough:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the self-raising flour and Greek yogurt.
- Mix until a dough forms. If it’s too sticky, sprinkle in a little more flour.
- Add the Fillings:
- Gently fold in half of the shredded cheese and half of the bacon bits into the dough.
- Shape the Rolls:
- Divide the dough into 6 equal portions. Roll each into a ball and place them close together (touching slightly) on the prepared tray.
- Top and Bake:
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese and bacon evenly over the top of the rolls.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden, risen, and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
Tips:
- Use smoked or maple bacon for extra flavor.
- These are best served warm with butter or alongside soup.
- To make them vegetarian, simply swap bacon for chopped sun-dried tomatoes or sautéed mushrooms.
